Katyn Hidane Age: 20

A young lady cat-burglar who finds herself in possesion of a mystic sword called "Ra'grathon." Marked as the sword's Keeper, it is her duty to use the sword to fight back the Dark and be a champion for the Light. However, she is far more used to living on her own, and does not gladly take on the role of "hero". She has spent most of her life fending for herself, and the closest thing she has to a family is a group of fellow thieves and an older man, Doc. Though basically a loner, she is very loyal to those she considers to be her friends, and while she claims to care for no one, there's nothing she'd fail to do for them.

Ra'yl: the Guardian of Light Age (physically): 22-24

The Guardian of Light, bound to serve the Keeper of Ra'grathon and protect him (or her) from anything the Dark may try. He takes his duties to Fate very seriously, and will let nothing keep him from his duty. He is not stuck in tradition, as sometimes seems, he merely knows no other way to live and cannot imagine certain things that seemed so definite the last time he arrived in the world to be so uncertain now. Once he can be coaxed to think outside the rules that were so strict when he was taught them, he is a very kind-hearted and fun-loving person, but very attentive to his duties, and he is still plagued by memories of the failure of the Light's last struggle.

Chaerius Evk Ky'rell Age: unkown

An ancient dragon charged by Fate to guide the Keeper through her task. Though he is a dragon, he often travels in the form of a black cat with purple eyes. While Chaerius is also charged with the Keeper's protection, that is not his main focus. He is to provide guidance to the Keeper, using all the wisdom he has gained from a dragon's lifetime of living. Chaerius is very devoted to Fate and to the task She has charged him with, but he is (like all dragons) a neutral. Though he may agree with more of what the Light may say that the Dark, in his heart, he follows neither side truly, which, while it gives an outside point-of-view to the Keeper, a necessary trait, can also occaisionally lead to actions on his part that go against the Light, or ignoring orders that he considers foolish that follow the Light. He does at he wishes at all times, following no rules. Fortunately, he also has a pleasant personality, which can at times be authoritative and no-nonsense, but is generally fun-loving and happy.

Aion Sarx Age: unkown

The Keeper of the Dark's sword, Kyar'tonis. Little is known of him at present, save that he controls much of the world from behind the scenes. He stands opposite Katyn, as the ultimate representative of the Dark she must battle against.

Elrek: the Guardian of Shades Age (physically): late 30's

The Dark's Guardian who stands opposite Ra'yl. Unlike his counterpart, he is perfectly suited to the role he plays, and has been considered by both sides to be the perfect example of what a Guardian should be. He cares nothing for pride or for proving himself, nor does he care for the well-being of the Dark itself (for that is a matter for his master alone to decide) His only concern is for his duty to his master, whether what his master may decide is right or wrong. To most he seems to be a very cold, uncaring individual, but that is the way of living that has allowed him to succeed as long as he has.

Sadryn ar'a Lirros Age: unknown

As the Dark has everything else equal to the Light, so too do they have a dragon advisor. Sadryn, however, handles his role very differently from Chaerius. He has a general hatred of humanity, and agreed to help only because he knew it would involve him in many wars and allow him to kill many humans. Even so, he knows his job and his place, and he does as Fate requires without too many words of argument. He too travels in the form of a cat, his guise being that of a blue and grey bobcat.

Lissibith Stark Age: 17

The only one of the "thieves" to actually work for a living, she is a mechanic, and adept at building things. Unfortunately, since she is so young and female she doesn't get a lot of business, so the majority of her work is for her circle of friends, fixing their vehicles and making fun "toys" for them to better steal with. The last one to come into the group of theives, Liss sometimes talks a bit beyond her years and has a good understanding of people. Because she is the youngest, she is closest to the ones nearer her age, Ty and Katyn.

Tyson Davis Age: 20

Called "Ty" by most, he is an expert hacker, able to crack into almost any computer he needs to. Neither a loner nor overly social, Ty is the sort of friend one would hang out with just to have fun, not really the one you'd call when there are problems. Still, he cares a great deal for his friends and always tries to be there to give them a hand.

Micah Sorren Age: 22

A pickpocket by trade, he prefers going by the shortened version of his name "Mic" (pronounced "Mike") Sometimes seeming the most normal of the group, he is often so quick that his movements go completely unnoticed. Very calm and cool, and not very easily surprised, Micah usually has a small smile on his face, as though laughing at a private joke, and usually gives anyone looking at him the impression that the joke is at their expense. He prefers to help his companions from behind the scenes rather than in the open, and though he gets along well with all the thieves, he is closer to the younger three, Liss, Katyn, and Ty.

Marian Andrews Age: 22

Like Katyn, Marian is a cat-burgalar. Unlike Katyn, however, Marian generally only has interest in more risky and more profitable heists. She has gained the nickname "spiderman" due to the suit she wears while stealing which allows her to cling to the ceilings and walls. She uses her natural agility from there. Sociable and fun-loving, Marian is most often found with the older members of the group, Jerrome, Tara, and Trey.

Jerrome Grayson Age: 23

A con artist by trade, Jerrome can talk people into almost anything he needs to. Always very cool and collected on the surface, he almost seems standoffish, and he is less close to the group as a whole than most of the others. However, whenver anything important arises, for better or for worse, he will be there to help.

Tara Laroski Age: 23

The same age and trade as Jerrome, she is something of his partner in crime. The two can almost always be found working together, although whether this is due to any sort of attraction or if they're just conning one another as they con everyone else, no one is quite certain. Tara has a front as a typical "ditsy blonde" which she uses to give people a false sense of security. Underneath it, she is cunning and manipulative, and yet very easy to get along with.

Trey Calders Age: 24

Trey is something of the self-proclaimed leader of the group. He is the eldest, and feels a certain responsibility to all of the others. He is capable in many different forms of thievery, but is not really a master in any of them. He is very protective of his little group, and very distrusting of any "outsiders" that may try to get close to them.

Georyn "Doc" Harris

An older man who frequently helps the thieves, but isn't really one of them. A doctor by trade, he "saved" them in the past when he took pity on them, now they all look to him as something of a rock to support them. His offices and home and other holdings serve as a sort of safe-house for the thieves when they are on the run, or just need a place to stay for a while. The thieves, in gratitude, will often steal medical supplies and such for him, so that he can afford to treat poorer patients in emergency situations. His first priority is to others.
